If you've ever read H.P. Lovecraft, there are creatures called Deep Ones. She looks like one of those with that expression.
For those who haven't had the pleasure of reading Lovecraft--do it! Oh yeah--Deep Ones are kind of frog-people with puffy lips and bulging eyes. Look at Jessica again and think about it.
