You're getting me confused. According to Wikipedia Mary Wilson is a Supreme.

Yep - Mary Wilson was indeed a Supreme with Diana Ross, and I think she tours independently now.

As a matter of fact, Mary Wilson wrote a memoir about her time with Diana Ross called "Dreamgirl: My Life As A Supreme". Not sure if the book came before the original stage musical or not, but YES, hillary, you're right.

Well, tease my hair and call me bouf-y. You're absolutely right; I totally should have Wiki'ed that. For some reason, I'd gotten it into my head that Cindy Birdsong and Florence Ballard were the other two members, but it turns out that Birdsong was brought in to replace Ballard.

See? Even when I was actually correct about something, I still can't get right. Thanks so much for the info, guys. I'll correct it right now.

In the words of Eddie Murphy (on the animated show The PJs), "Holy Mary Wilson Mother Motown!"

I'm just going to come right out and say this:

It's great to see a "newbie" (and a non-Black one at that) come out a praise Dreamgirls so much.

You actually "get it".

Thumbs up for your review.

Say it again.
